IT IS WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM THAT WE WELCOME SHAMIR MULLINGS TO LYFC AS THE CLUBS DIRECTOR
Shamir Mullings is a former professional soccer player who joins us from England. Having played several years in the EFL and National League, his experience not only has helped us on the field, but off the field too. He’s shown a great deal of professionalism and is a huge asset to the club.
Shamir started his playing and coaching career in England. At the age of 16 he started his youth career at EFL club Southend United. Throughout his career, he played at England’s National Stadium Wembley, gaining promotion with EFL club Forest Green Rovers.
Alongside playing, he was mentoring youth players and coaching kids aged 4-18. Since arriving in the United States, Shamir has gained valuable experience alongside our elite coaches and management. Here’s what he had to say:

Lansdowne have opened their arms and accepted me a one of their own and I’ll forever be grateful. My goal as Director is to help Lansdowne grow on and off the field, and be there to support everyone when needed.”
